A few days ago now baby Donald in Ghana, who is a little over a year old,
accidentally overturned a pan of boiling water on himself and was badly burned on
the side of his head and on his feet. Fortunately the water didn't hit his face but
his head was covered with nasty blisters.
He received first aid and then later more comprehensive medical treatment, though
not as immediately as he should have, and now he is looking much better.
The most recent photos of Donald show that the evidence of the burns is still there
but nothing like the lumpy blisters that were on the side of his head earlier. It
is too soon to know if he will carry permanent scars but at least he is past the
worst and is on the road to recovery.
